A love of fast cars, a sense of drama and being on stage led Joff to finding his niche as an extraordinary auctioneer. His track record for speed and success include property, fixed and movable assets and numerous charity auctions. Companies that have enjoyed his style include Kinleyside and Mills, The Michael James Organisation, Claremart Auctioneers, The Alliance Group and Sotheby's International.

He is the first African to have entered the world international auction championships in Orlando, Florida in 2006 and to be awarded the CAI Certified Auctioneers Institute Scholarship to study for three years at the University of Indiana State as well as the sought after AARE, Accredited Auctioneer Real Estate. This is the highest designation or recognition the NAA (National Auctioneers Association of America) awards to any member throughout the world. Joff is the first African to hold the prestigious CAI title. Another record under the belt of this remarkable man is realising the South African record for the highest bid ever received on auction for a commercial property, for R72.6 million.

He is the youngest auctioneer in SA with the most local and international experience gleaned in 16 years. He has showcased his talent for making auctioneering an art at many high profile charity auctions countrywide. Selling Richard Branson for R360 000 was one of his unique challenges. Others include being featured on the Home Channel satellite TV station as celebrity auctioneer for the Celine Dion concert, to an audience of 20 000 people. He was featured on "The Apprentice" show auctioning off celebrities, and on "The Block" as well as "Top Billing", "SuperSport", ETV and "Top Gear" when he auctioned off The Stig for R650 000.00!

His mentor? World class auctioneer Spanky Assiter, 3 time world champion, who invited Joff to attend the largest collector car auction in the world in Scottsdale, Arizona in 2008. Joff is a member of the SAIA, the South African Institute of Auctioneers, a licensed real estate/property auctioneer, a member of the Institute of Estate Agents of SA and a member and fidelity holder of the EAAB Estate Agency Affairs Board.

Rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous like Princess Caroline of Monaco and using his charm and charisma to remove money from their pockets has become second nature for this bright, energetic and entertaining businessman. Joff is now director and lead auctioneer of Savile Row Auctions and is poised to create many more records and firsts.
